Obama Ernest is arguably the most popular Journalist in Cameroon as at now though not for the right reasons. He had been arrested, since morning of Thursday June 18th in Capital City, Yaoundé.
According to news that reached the STANDARD MIRROR, the Vision4 worker had for a while now been wrapped in financial scandals at the ANECDOTE Group where he was once appointment the Director of the Vision4 Tv owned by one of Cameroon’s business Mogul, Jean Pierre Amougou Belinga.
The arrest of Obama Ernest has got tongues wangling with many ascertaining the fact that his arrest was eminent due to his numerous ugly moral and Professional deeds.
The “carefree hate speech” Journalist had succeeded in causing many Cameroonians of Anglophone expression to hate the Vision4 Tv and tagging it another Rwandan-like “Mille Colline” for Propagating hate against a people. He had on a Televised Debate, called for the extinction of Anglophones who opposed President Paul Biya’s regime referring to them as rats, in the hit of the ongoing Anglophone crisis.
Same Obama had bragged that his connections to power in the country won’t permit the Anglophone Born President of the National Communication Council, Peter Essoka, do anything to him. This after more than 50 Anglophone Journalists signed a petition against his xenophobic utterances.
While Obama Ernest remains behind bars at SED pending legal judicial proceedings, many especially some “Calm Hearted” Anglophone Journalists have started calling for due process to avoid what happened to one of theirs, Samuel Ajiekah Aka Wazizi, who die in Military custody, claimed to have been a Terrorist.
